 Prince Hall School is located in the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia. Prince Hall opened in 1973. 

Originally the school was to be named the West Oak Lane School.  Dedicated to Prince Hall, founder of Prince Hall Masonry.

Adopted by The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Pa

Prince Hall School's Vision

Prince Hall's vision is to have all of our children achieving at proficient and advanced levels: excellence is our only option. Prince Hall is about results. We are committed to providing materials and training for parents to help them work with their children to improve their child's achievement in literacy training and the use of appropriate technology, as well as to foster greater parent involvement. At Prince Hall School we are committed to provide parents with a description and explanation of the Core Curriculum for Literacy, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies.

Our vision includes increasing parental involvement at Prince Hall School. Our Home and School is certified with the School District of Philadelphia Home and School Council and plans to continue having meetings that address academics, attendance, nutrition, parenting skills, and ways to increase our Home and School parent membership participation. We will have volunteer luncheon and recognition programs to reward parents for their efforts in our building.
