195th Annual Mid-Year Session  March 26 - 27, 2010


Beginning March 26th, hundreds of Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge masons will converge on Gettysburg, Pennsylvania for the 195th Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge Annual Mid-Year session. The session will take place at the Wyndham Gettysburg Hotel, Gettysburg,  PA  and will conclude on March 27, 2010.


The One Hundred and Ninety Fifth Annual Mid-Year Session of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania, will convene at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 26, 2010 and at 8:30 A.M. on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the -

for the purpose of reviewing the state of the craft, transacting all business that may constitutionally and legally confront us in this session.

An Occasional Lodge will convene on Friday, March 26, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. by Bay City Lodge No. 68 and under the leadership of the Grand Lecturer, Broth Malcom E. Harris.

PRE-REGISTRATION

The fee for Pre-Registration will be fifty ($55.00) dollars. Brothers of the craft will pre-register through their respective lodges on Form No. 2.  This form and the apropos check or money order must be forwarded to the Grand Secretary on or before March 12, 2010. ALL FEES MUST BE PAID BY CHECK OR MONEY ORDER.

NOTE:

All Grand Lodge Officers, both Elected and Appointed MUST register in advance, with the proper fee on Form No. 3, and forwarded to the Grand Secretary on or before March 5, 2010. If you cannot attend the Mid-Year Session, please notify the following:

All District Deputy Grand Masters must notify the Worshipful - Deputy - At - Large, Brother Melvin A. Alston, Sr.

All District Lecturers must notify the Grand Lecturer, Brother Malcom A. Harris.

All other Appointed Grand Lodge Officers must send a letter to the Worshiful Assistant Grand Secretary, Brother Raynard Hughes.

ON-SITE REGISTRATION

The fee for On-Site Registration will be sixty-five ($65.00) dollars.   The Committee will be available at the site

Friday, March 26, 2009 - 10:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
Saturday, March 27, 2009 - 8:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M.

NOTE: Your registration fee will include breakfest and the friday night's activity.

MASONIC DRESS

All Grand Lodge Officers must be properly dressed (Tails) for both days of the session. On Friday and Saturday ALL Brothers will be required to attend the sessions  dressed in Dark Suits, Aprons and Gloves.

NOTE: Worshipful Masters and Wardens of all Constituent Lodges will be permitted to wear their Collars.

REPORTS

Elected Officers, Worshipful District Deputy Grand Masters, Worshipful District Lecturers, Directors, and Committee Chairman will submit a typewritten report on the attached form.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS

Room Registration Forms from the Wynham Gettysburg Hotel are enclosed. The cost for rooms is $119.00 dollars plus tax per night.  A one night's deposit is required to secure your reservation.  (Major Credit Cards Acceptable). 

The Wynham Gettysburg Hotel will ensure accurate reservations if your request is received by 2/25/2010.  Request received after this date will be subject to higher rates or unavailability.   No cancellations will be accepted within 24 hours of Arrival Date. Reservation Form

All regular and stated meetings of all Houses of the Masonic Family that are scheduled for March 26, 2010 and March 27, 2010 are hereby canceled and direction for said Constituent and/or Subordinate bodies to secure the proper "Dispensation" from the required source to reschedule said meeting is given.  The trustees for "4301" and "1117" will be given written notice of the same before March 26, 2010 of the official rescheduling.

 Seven rooms are left at the Marriott Courtyard Hotel @ the Prince Hall Conference Rate of 119.00.

The Wyndham is sold out. The Marriott Courtyard is located next door to the Wyndham Hotel and is under the same ownership.

On Friday March 26th onsite registration will open at 10:30AM brothers may eat breakfast and lunch at the hotel or nearby establishments.

Please note that the Friday`s Breakfast listed  in the proclamation has been move to Saturday in Salon E and F from the hours of 6AM- 9:AM.

I strongly recommend the Gettysburg dinner or Perkins for more economical meals.

General Session:

On Friday evening  Chuck Rock spin record`s with a fun filled evening of dancing. This event is free to all brothers and their families.

For those who do not plan to attend the disco there is a movie theater on the premises with first run movies.

For the wives and sweet hearts there are the outlets located 10 minutes from the hotel on route 15.

Other restaurants in the area:  Friday`s, Brandon Iron steak and Dunlap`s Sea food.

On Saturday  breakfast will be free to all brothers that are registered for the session. Additional ticket can be purchase from anyone on the ways and means committee or convention staff. The cost of each ticket will be 12.00.

Saturday evening free time to shop see a movie or take a tour of historical Gettysburg.
