Mid Year Session 2007

Beginning April 3, thousands of Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge masons will converge on Gettysburg, Pennsylvania for the 193rd Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge Annual Mid-Year session. The session will take place at the Wyndham Gettysburg Hotel, Gettysburg, PA and will conclude on April 6, 2008.

The One Hundred and Ninety Third Annual Mid-Year Session of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania, will convene at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, April 4, 2008 and at 8:30 A.M. on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at the -

for the purpose of reviewing the state of the craft, transacting all business that may constitutionally and legally confront us in this session.

An Occasional Lodge will convene on Friday, April 4, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. by Social Friendship Lodge No. 42.

The fee for Pre-Registration will be fifty ($50.00) dollars. Brothers of the craft will pre-register through their respective lodges on Form No. 2. This form and the apropos check or money order must be forwarded to the Grand Secretary on or before March 17, 2008. ALL FEES MUST BE PAID BY CHECK OR MONEY ORDER.

All Grand Lodge Officers, both Elected and Appointed MUST register in advance, with the proper fee on Form No. 3, and forwarded to the Grand Secretary on or before March 17, 2008.

The fee for On-Site Registration will be sixty ($60.00) dollars. The Committee will be available at the site

All Grand Lodge Officers must be properly dressed (Tails) for both days of the session. On Friday and Saturday ALL Brothers will be required to attend the sessions dressed in Dark Suits, Aprons and Gloves.

NOTE: Worshipful Masters and Wardens of all Constituent Lodges will be permitted to wear their Collars.

Room Registration Forms from the Wyndham Gettysburg Hotel are attached (click here). The cost for rooms is one hundred fourteen ($114.00) dollards plus tax per night for King, double Queen rooms. A one night's deposit is required to secure reservations. (Major Credit Cards Acceptable). This reduced rate is available beginning April 3, 2008.

The Wyndham Gettysburg Hotel will ensure accurate reservations if your request is received by 3/10/2008. Request received after this date will be subject to higher rates or unavailability. No cancellations will be accepted within 24 hours of Arrival Date.

NOTE: There will be a banquet and also an evening of relaxation and dancing on Friday, April 4, 2008 for a nominal fee of $35.00. Selected members of the Order who are members of "Greek" fraternities will be honored. click here for more detailed information.

All regular and stated meetings of all Houses of the Masonic Family that are scheduled for April 4, 2008 and April 5, 2008 are hereby canceled and direction for said Constituent and/or Subordinate bodies to secure the proper "Dispensation" from the required source to reschedule said meeting is given. The trustees for "4301" and "1117" will be given written notice of the same before March 22, 2008 of the official rescheduling.
