July 18 - 20, 2005
Beginning July 16, 2005, Order of Eastern Star members of Deborah Grand
Chapter, PHA of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will converge on Reading, Pennsylvania
for the 89th Deborah Grand Chapter, O.E.S. Annual Session. The session will
take place at the Sheraton Reading Hotel, 1741 Paper Mill Road, Wyomissing (Reading),
PA 19610 and will conclude on July 20, 2005.
The Sheraton Hotel will ensure accurate reservations if your request is
received by 6/15/2005. Request received after this date will be subject
to higher rates or unavailability. Reservation requests must be accompanied
by a deposit ($87.00) equal to one night's room rate. No cancellations
will be accepted within 24 hours of Arrival Date.

and will continue until all business is completed at the --

The official opening of the 89th Grand Session will be performed
by Deborah Grand Chapter Officers.
CONVENTION REGISTRATION
Pre-Registration fee for Deborah Grand Chapter members will
be Seventy-five ($75.00) dollars. and must be received on or before June 30,
2005. This fee includes a ticket for the Monday evening banquet honoring
District Deputy Grand Worthy Matrons the Grand Lecturer and District Lecturers.
The on-Site Registration fee from Saturday July 16 - Monday July 18, 2005 will
also be $75.00 and includes a banquet ticket. The on-site registration
fee for Tuesday July 19, and Wednesday July 20, 2005 will be $50.00. (NO
EXCEPTIONS)! All members, including Grand Chapter Officers, are requested
to pre-register. There is NO registration fee for Past Grand Worthy
Matrons nor Past Grand Worthy Patrons. Chapters who have Past Grand Worthy
Matrons/Patrons shall list her/his name on the Chapter's Registration Form.
Elected Grand Chapter Officers (Excluding the Grand Worthy Matron, Grand Worthy
Patron, Grand Treasurer, Grand Secretary and Grand Assistant Secretary), are
to submit their Registration Fee to their Chapter Secretary. Please make
checks and money orders payable to the 2005 Convention Committee, DGC and forward

and hosiery.

No dresses, suits or splits above the knees.

No plunging necklines ( back or front)

Long sleeves or sleeves below the elbow
DRESS CODE FOR CHAPTER OF SORROW
- ONLY, Black dress or suit with long sleeves (no plunging neckline,
front or back)
- Black shoes, hosiery, handbag and jewelry
- White gloves
- Black mortarboard hat with tassel on the left side
- Purple rosette worn on the left breast
Black robes for Elected and appointed Grand Chapter Officers.
The team members and Past Worthy Matrons may also wear black robes. (if they
so choose).

A Chapter of Sorrow will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2005
BANQUET
A banquet will be held on Monday Evening, July 18, 2005, in
the Sheraton Reading Hotel, honoring District Deputy Grand Worthy Matrons
and the Grand Lecturer and District Lecturers.
HOTEL RESERVATIONS
REMINDER Room Reservation Forms were distributed to the District
Deputy Grand Matrons, and MUST BE RETURNED TO THE HOTEL BY JUNE 15, 2005.
